Commute route Crumlin Rd to Malahide Rd

Any tips? I have to be at Northern Cross on the Malahide Rd for 9am next Tues.
Was thinking of Cork St, Dame St, past Rotunda, up through Drumcondra, Right onto Collins Ave, Left onto Malahide Rd et voila.
Anyone with knowledge of Northside see any problems to avoid with this route?

Another route is up the quays out into northstrand onto Fairview and straight up the Malahide road.

Cheers, you're right, going that way will avoid the ultra busy bus lanes etc around Drumcondra.

I tend to avoid Cork Street. Used to go along the canal to merrion square, Holles St, IFSC, Fairview to Malahide rd. Left the house at 7.30, so not sure what traffic would be like later on.

thanks - I'm well used to crumlin rd/ cork st/ clanbrassil - so I've no probs in this area, it was more Northside.
