The Smackdown commentary this week appears to be Josh Mathews and JBL. JBL came out to a pretty small reaction, but the males were pumped up. Josh offered up a handshake, but JBL slapped his hand away. Hilarious!

    1. Sheamus defeated Tensai. Sheamus won with White Noise followed by a Brogue Kick in about three minutes. Sheamus, unlike some people, had not trouble lifting Tensai.

    2. Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal (w/Drew McIntyre) beat Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. The heels won in about four minutes when Slater hit Ryder with an inverted DDT type move.

    3. Kane beat Dolph Ziggler by DQ. The DQ came roughly nine minutes into the match when Dolph hit Kane with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Afterward, Dolph tried to attack Kane again, but Kane knocked him out of the ring. Daniel Bryan ran out to help Kane, but Dolph escaped and the tag champs bickered amongst themselves. Matt Striker tried to interview them, but he received a No! Lock and chokeslam.

    4. Big Show beat Kofi Kingston. Show won with the WMD in a couple minutes. The Miz was on commentary and trash talked Kofi afterward while he was down in the ring.

There was a backstage segment with Booker T, Teddy Long, Eve, Layla and Kaitlyn. Everyone thinks Eve was responsible for the attack on Eve, and Eve thinks Teddy did it.

    5. Sin Cara (w/mood lighting) beat Damien Sandow (w/Cody Rhodes). Sin Cara won in about three mins with a roll up. Cody got ejected, and Sin Cara used the distraction to get the win.

    6. Alberto Del Rio beat Daniel Bryan. Del Rio won by submission with the cross arm breaker. ADR talked smack about Orton after the match. Orton showed up and started beating down ADR. Ricardo provided a distraction for ADR to escape, so Randy RKO'd him through the announce table as ADR looked on.

    That seems to be it.
This was filmed as well, but my source didn't say when or where it goes (though it looks likely it was at the very beginning of the show)...

The Big Show vs. Sheamus in a Brougue Kick vs. KO Punch challenge. A punching bag is set up on stage and person who hits it the hardest wins judging on force per square inch. Sheamus hit 1322. Big Show hit 1809. Big Show wins. Tensai nailed Sheamus from behind.

Main Event Spoilers regarding Randy Orton
Randy Orton lost to The Big Show in a match at the WWE Main Event Taping before WWE Smackdown in San Jose, California. After the match was over, Randy Orton was attended to by officials. The picture below shows Orton grabbing at his head, a sign of a possible concussion. It's also possible WWE is writing him off TV while he shoots his upcoming movie, but he is advertised for tonight's Smackdown taping.

Don't know if thats before or after what happened on Smackdown though.

Looks a decent episode. Glad to see the one man baaaaannnnnndddddd getting a win at last over Ryder.

I'm pleased to see Del Rio get a big win. I think he's worked hard this year and I hope the Orton feud ends with him making Orton tap out again.

Daniel Bryan submitting, don't like the sounds of that!

What happened Drew's hand? And Jinder Mahal looks so out of place in that group. He always looks like someone who's trying to remember what he's meant to be doing.

Smackdown is well Smackdown but the novelty of JBL's commentary carries it to interesting.

JBL saying stitch it in when Bryan put Striker in the Yes Lock was hilarious. Bryan vs Del Rio was ok nothing memorable from the show.

Anyone else think Sheamus came across really heelish in that Brogue Kick/WMD segment? I thought he was funny but felt more sympathy for Show. I wouldn't be surprised if Show is the fan favourite at the PPV and Sheamus gets a good few boos. He's in total smarmy mode right now.

I would have liked them to focus the feud on whether or not Sheamus could hit the Brogue Kick on Show. A bit like the feud Brock had with Show ten years ago where the question was could Brock hit the F-5 or not.

The way they are booking this feud has done nothing for me and I think it's a shame as I reckon it could be good if they'd just keep it simple and leave out all the whackiness of debates and strength challenges.

It was the same when he was on Miz Tv a few weeks ago, almost made me side with Miz.

Sheamo has been like that since about half way through the Del Rio feud. Unless its a very slow heel turn, which would be a stupid idea, it kills him as it makes his asshole heel opponent more likable than him.
