Hope someone can help answer this.

Hope to come to Dublin for the footie on Friday night. afaik parking is free overnight to 7am (from 7pm), but anyone know how much it is to park on the street during peak hours?

    Its around the Quays.

    Thanks.

Be very careful and check the signs.

As far as I know there are some areas that have Pay & Display up to midnight.

Some car parks have an overnight deal that might be reasonable value. I don't know how comfortable I'd be leaving my car on the quays overnight.

Car parks like Stephens Green Center and Marlborogh St are something like €6 overnight until 8 or 9 the next morning. Perosnally Id pay that for piece of mind alone; would not leave my car parked out on the quays overnight.

This. The stephen's green/RCSI carpark will leave you 20-25 minutes walk from the aviva and if you pay on arrival, they'll do 5pm - 10am for 6 euro. To pay on arrival you simply park and go straight to the machine with your ticket, it'll know that you're paying for the night. I often use it if we're in town and I'm the designated driver.

I think the B&B is along the Quays (The Ferryman).

Will it be much hassle to park there and walk to the B&B (how long you talking for this?).

Then again the hassle of walking to the car in the morning (probably have to rise very early to get there in time).

The Ferryman is on St John Rogersons quay yeah? I dont know if any of the carparks around there are 24 hour (there is one at Jurys but it closes at midnight I think); if it was me Id probably park in Marlborough St (same overnight deal as Stephens Green) and then get the Luas down to the hotel.

If you end up staying beyond the overnight period then you just pay by the hour on top of the overnight rate, so its not like you have to be up at the crack of dawn to get the car out!

This car park is across the road from the Ferryman, and is open from 7am to midnight. I don't know if they have an overnight rate, didn't read the site properly, but it'd be by far the handiest if they did. You can also book a space online, which I'd recommend if there's a show on that night - it's fairly small and fills up very quickly.

You could walk from Marlborough Street to the ferryman in about 10 to 15 minutes I'd say.

    I'd +1 this idea.

You could, but Im far too lazy for that :p
