Watching BBC2 on UPC up to midnight tonight, they said at midnight that they were about to switch off and that you should now switch to digital. Watching BBC2 on UPC up to midnight tonight, they said at midnight that they were about to switch off and that you should now switch to digital.

Not being sure if the screen was about to go blank, I sat there and lo an behold they welcomed the viewer to the land of digital TV at 12:01.

Phew, that was a close one!

For those who aren't aware, the NI BBC2 analog signal was switching off at midnight and the UHF channel was being used for the first broadcast of digital TV in NI later today.
