Is it possible to have a yard light switched on and off by remote control? If so would it cost much? Sensor is not an option.

Stinel make a great remote control and receiver for lighting.

There are lots of options, such as multiple remotes switching multiple receivers.
It is also possible to add receivers to existing lights.
The remotes are small enough to go on your key ring.

Is there any online places that sell these?? Are they hard to fit?

If you have electric gate and remote with free button it's very easy to use existing remote to control the light. Some control board have connector for light, if your don't have you need receiver and relay.

You could try this remote with a switch. Its pricier than the ebay kit but moreflexible if there is other stuff you want to add later.
