    Another day.

    Another shooting.

    Another thread.

I hope the kid makes a full recovery but either way there'll be another shooting sooner rather than later where the victim won't survive, and another thread and so on, and so on, and so on..........

The scumbag that pulled the trigger was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    And always will be.

From what I heard there on RTE news it was a drive by shooting, the boy was standing beside a known criminal who was likely the intended target. This has been coming for a while these thugs are nothing but idiots, they cant even be successful at being a criminal.

Poor lad and his family, please god he will make a full recovery :(

The level of gun crime in Dublin city has certainly increased in the last 8 months. Something needs to be done, we are fast heading towards the UK where innocent people being shot and/or killed is the norm.

I'm not sure anything can be done though. More and more people seem to be turning to criminal activity to get by in this country.

Not to quote a cliche going around ... but it would appear Ireland is becoming more violent these days.

Not that nothing happened a decade or so - or anything like that. But its not unusal to read about shootings or murders these days.
