accumulation of 6 points in first 2 years of full license

    Hey
    Just need to clarify something here.If you accumulate 6 penalty points on your first 2 years of having your full license you get your license revoked.Now what I want to know is does that include the points that were previously on your learner permit.In other words,if you have 2 penalty points on your learner permit and attain your full license,does that only allow you to accumulate 4 more points before your license is revoked?

    Does anyone have any information or links on this?

    I would imagine so. The RSA website states very simply, this:
    What licences do penalty points apply to?

    Penalty points apply to both learner permits and full Irish driving licences.
