Eircom Broadband Vs Iphone 5

    I moved to Ashbourne and the internet here is Eircom. In my last apartment I had UPC so moving to Eircom is shocking

    Eircom is not even reaching 1mbps and they are charging over 50 euro a month :eek:

    I am thinking of just getting rid of Eircom and buying an iPhone 5 from 3
    I tested the 3G hotspot and it is the same speed as Eircom

    Does anyone else use their mobile like this all the time?

    If you buy an iphone from Three, the use of it as a hotspot i.e tethering is prohibited by their terms and conditions. This change in policy happened in January 2012.
    You may "get away" with it, and you may not.

    vodafone broadband is good, most days we reach up to 18-20 mb.
