01 golf 80k failed on CO on high idle >CO 0.35%<
Dipetane was used and 300 miles later it passes on high idle but fails on low idle >CO 0.70%<
HCs were +200 on low idle both tests

    Any ideas?

Its either burning oil or has a misfire/combustion issue.

Surely its burning oil with the high hc results anyway? Diptane won't help that.
