    What's everyone's plans for Halloween. I've heard it's not as big here as in Ireland which sucks because it's the best night!!!

    Yeah not really done here, a few bars will have something on the saturday night, but not many.

    Most Aussies would think it's just a US holiday & (cynically) try & avoid it (like Thanksgiving also).
    It's our isolation from the rest of the world & we are just not into carving pumpkins.
    The discount shops push it a bit, but mainly to sell costumes and confectionery to the kids.

    Given it's on a Wednesday there will probably be feck all happening for it. It's barely celebrated at the best of times anyway.
