    Hi, just wondering if anyone has received planning permission in west Wicklow recently? I am considering applying for planning permission for a small bungalow. However, it seems nearly impossible to find out how much will need to be paid to Wicklow Co.Co in relation to services. Over the past few weeks I have heard of costs ranging from €3000 up to €18000?? This just seems a ridiculous amount of money?? Has anyone any information on recent amounts payable? Thanks for your help :)

    a quick google.

    This is from 2008 and should have been reviewed in 2010 but seems to still be the applicable scheme schedule.

    you need to identify where your site is located ie whether "rural", "moderate / small growth town" or "metropolitan / large growth town"

    The scheme is operable in every county in Ireland with each county adopting its own level of charges.

    By and large the charges are based on the size of the development and the availability of services. In your case the full details of the charges can be found in the pdf document which can be downloaded here
