Hi All, got an 2006 transit van, 2.0 litre tdci with loud knocking in the engine,
He seems these transit vans are not very reliable as there is quite a few of them advertised on donedeal etc all with engine trouble.

I Would like to know if a 2.0 litre engine out of a 2005 mondeo tdci would fit in this transit as think it may need an engine

    Thanks

I have never tried it myself so I'm not 100% sure but I think they are different. They are superficially similar but not interchangeable. There is a lad from Blackchurch Motors who posts on here from time to time whose name escapes me, he should be able to tell you for definite one way or the other.
