    l have an interview wednesday for a medical secretary position & on friday l'm getting braces!

    Should l tell them this in the interview? if so what way would l put it??

    Or does it not matter? like l dunno what il sound like with them on etc....:confused:

    advice & opinions please!:)

    nope.

    Ok you'll need a bit of time off each month to get your braces tightened but it's not going to have an adverse impact on your ability to do your job.

    What sort of braces are you getting? If it's the standard train track ones, you'll sound the same. If you're getting some sort of plate into your mouth, that'll take a little bit of getting used to but I don't think they're as common. Best of luck - they're worth it :)

    I mentioned it to a previous employer, but only to point out that I'd occasionally need time to go to my orthodontist. They were fine with it, and you'll adjust quickly to speaking (and doing everything else) with braces.

    Best of luck with them! (And consider a silicon wax like orthosil, I found it much better than the non-silicon wax which just crumbled off in my mouth!)
