It's very quiet in here considering there was a new episode last night.

I just watched it and came on here to see what everyone thought..!
    How disappointing : (

    **MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS**

I don't think it was disappointing - you've got to expect they develop the story with episodes like this through out the season. It can't all be fast paced, lots happening. There's bound to be a few like this, but I hope not too many.

Thought it was a good episode.

It'll be interesting to see how Dexter and Deb cope with trying to get him 'better'.

Next week's will be interesting when he goes to see that convicts girlfriend (played by Yvonne Strahovski)....

I don't think Sinfonia thought the episode was disappointing just that the lack of discussion is disappointing!

Anyway, I thought it was a good episode. It'll be good to see Dexter chased by 2 different individuals while Debra's watching every step he takes. It should lead to some good scenes.

    Right you are!

I thought it was good overall; I'm a little undecided on Deb's reactions, would one not be completely inconsolable after having their entire world view completely ****ed over?! She is supposed to have a certain objectivity what with being a cop and everything, but still.. I find it unsettling somehow.

    Spoilers:

It was a filler episode and thats all it felt like to me..Nothing significant happened other that a bit of development on the Deb, La guerta and creepy intern guy situations.

I really have no idea how Dexters gonna keep on feeding his Dark Passenger with three people now on his case..I hate when Dexters held back like with Rita. And it only means more screen time for Deb which is fcucking horrible, her crying, scrunched up face never seems to leave the screen..

I nearly forgot about the British guy who stuck the screwdriver in the guys eye, he seems interesting. In fact the whole
situation with the stripper and the bracelet has the makings of a very good plot this year.

Have to remember though that she loves him. And not in a brotherly way, remember the last season? She had discussions on her feelings for him during her therapy.

I can see it developing to Deb accompanying Dexter on one of his kills, ultimately making some kind peace with her own conscience on her brothers needs and the general 'clean-up service' he provides.

Also wasn't there hints to that effect during last nights episode? ;)

I liked it, it was an episode setting up the season a bit more, the creepy intern guy got infinitely more interesting in that episode. I used to find myself reading around and only half paying attention to the supporing cast in Dexter, this season less so, even with the filler episode. At least we know the airport scenes may not have been another writers inability to think, this time there will be consequences from it.

She makes an even bigger killin when he's out at night making a killin.

I was thinking that when he showed up at Deb's place - 'what the f*ck's happening with Harrison!?!'

Don't understand the negativity about the 2nd episode, it would have been some feat to keep the same intensity as episode one of the series but I felt it kept the pace going nicely. Should be a great season. Miles better programme than 90% of the tripe served up these days IMO

Watching it online is the only way

No idea yet, but it will probably turn out that he's in some way related to one of Dex's previous kills.

That scene when the prisoner jumped out in front of the truck was brilliant. So shocking.

Seeing the picture of Doakes too, I hope they resurrect him as a ghost :D

The makers of this show must be amazed that they're still getting away with it. Good first and second season. Awful since then.

    Great contribution really.

Was a slow burner of an episode, the La Guerta angle is the most intriguing for me, how she arrives at a suspect etc, hopefully Dexter kills her anyway, shes been asking for it for a long time.;)

Yet you're obviously still watching it so?

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

    Albert Einstein

second episode was good, but was a step down from the first, which was obviously gonna happen,

i give it a few episodes and deb will just leave dexter and his dark passenger alone, im surprised he didnt tell her that the guy their looking for is dead, it goes to show that he has zero intentions of changing, also he was never gonna kill louis, but used the scenario to get deb off his back and teach louis a lesson,

i do wonder about louis though, is he just an idiot and thinks dexter wont do anything, so hell continue to wind him up for tearing his game apart, or is their more to him, it weird that hes been around a while now and we still dont know who he is,

    Just watched episode 3.

Great episode. The best so far in my opinion. One small complaint:
Disappointed to see Louis's demise so soon. I thought more was going to happen, but it still might...

I was getting a bit annoyed with the "caged Dexter routine", but it looks like he is back on track

Really curious about the killers ex and Dexter. Where the flip is that going. Her blondness and hotness reminded me of Rita a little. New camouflage perhaps?
