Where would be a good place in Europe to go for a 3 day break in Oct / Nov?

I was thinking of checking out Copenhagen.

Cph is nice - Tivoli gardens etc but expensive place for food and drink.

Krakow in Poland would be another possible option.

    Or Prague.

Great time of the year to go to Venice too as not crowded as in Summer.

Agree re Copenhagen. It's one of those few cities that makes Dublin feel cheap. Beautiful and all as it is. There's also the hassle of changing currency.

If you're thinking Scandinavia I can highly recommend Helsinki, beautiful city, not as expensive as Copenhagen and they use the Euro.

If going to Venice, make sure you don't clash with the marathon weekend which tends to be late October/early November.

Like Helsinki a lot but not a huge amount to see imo - people are great though. It's probably cheaper (a bit) than Dublin though in terms of prices.

But you could always do 2 cites and go to Tallin - 40 minutes or so by fast ferry - old town worth seeing.

Copenhagen is great. Plenty to do, beautiful city. You can hop on the train too and go to Sweden for an afternoon or evening as Malmo is just a quick hop accross the Øresund Bridge with its stunning views of the strait its a great little trip.
