NFC Tag Questions

    Hi there.

    I got a batch of NFC tags in the post this morning, and before I go & screw them up, maybe somebody could help me with some questions please.

    1. Are the tags re-writeable? (In case I do screw them up)

    2. I have created a task called "nighttime" which turns sound off, bluetooth & WIFI off in NFC Task Launcher. When I bring my phone to the tag and it turns all of these off. When I bring my phone to the tag in the morning, will it switch these on again, or should I use the option "Toggle"?

    I have no idea what tags you have so it's not possible to say if they are rewritable or not.

    For your second question, yes use toggle.

    2 questions
    - what app are you using to write tasks
    - what app are you using to write to your tags

    Has any progress been made on these NFC chips over the last while or is it all still profile related things still?

    I found them a novelty for a while and used them but after a while they just lost their appeal. Hoping something a b it more useful that bluetooth on/off etc is done. If i have a dashboard on the homepasge i can turn bluetooth off myself in a second etc so these profiles switches lost their appeal quite quickly for me anyway

    Yeah, you should get at least a few thousands writes out of them.

    Toggles are what you want.

    I am going to use the app NFC Task Launcher to write to the tags.
