Cheapest Place for an eye exam for License in Galway

    Hi,

    I've been ringing around a few opticians in Galway, the cheapest I have found for an eye test is purely for the Driving license, is 25 quid!

    Quite simply, does anyone know of anywhere that does it cheaper in the Galway area. I can't stomach paying someone 25 quid to say "read that line"!

    I paid 35 euro for an eye test a good while back. Its just one of them things that has to be done. Like you have (A) get your eye exam and licence (B) Walk.

    I get what you're saying, honestly I do.

    If it wasnt for C) I've been driving for 16 years in Canada on my BC license, D) the Canadian License is not interchangeable with the Irish license, and E) I STILL have to do 12 compulsory lessons, theory AND an eye test, then I wouldnt be so fussed about the cost...

    As it is though, I do, so thats why I want to find the cheapest place for everything!
