901/808 Threads

Not quite sure about this, but is the 901 thread the same as the 808 thread, was thinking about buying a 901 battery to 510 atomizer adapter from TBS, but need it to actually be 808 battery to 510 atomizer, will my 808 battery thread fit the 901 thread?

From an ECF thread;

The 808 and 901 do in fact have the same threading, but you have to make sure the adapter you use has venting for an 808 being that they vent differently.

Cheers Tommy. Have never come across a 901 battery, but have seen them pitted with 808d-1's. I have ordered 15 1.0ml Kanger KR-808 Clearomizer's from Health Cabin, but no Irish website stocks them only the 501 version, so thought I'd get an adapter for the future if they do the biz (ordered it today from TBS along with 30 ml bottles of Strawberry & Cherry VG at 0mg (kick the nic)

i had 808d boges onto a 901 batt and they fit nice but there was no air coming thru em, as like the airholes where blocked and had to use em on 808d batts
