Mac Mail Problem

    Hi Guys,

    I've always used the mail app with no problems but I upgraded to ML there yesterday and now I cant send mail.

    I set it up with the exact settings in outlook and it works fine. The ports were 110 for the incoming and 25 for the outgoing but I can only enter one in the mac app.

    I've managed to get it sending OR recieving e-mails but thats it. Any ideas?

    Edit the SMTP settings in the account that you are using for sending.
    The following instructions are for Snow Leopard. There may be significant differences in ML.

    Mail -> Preferences -> Accounts

    Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) -> Edit SMTP Server List
    Click on the required account to highlight it.
    Click on "Advanced".
    Now you can fiddle with the settings.

    (P.s. why didn't your built-in spell checker put a red line under "recieving"?)
