I've a big gap in my timetable tomorrow and wanted to fill it watching a film with a friend on my laptop, with headphones of course! Any comfortable places on campus with a plug socket nearby? Even a corner of Smokeys or the Bialinn? I'll be working on a group project through the year too so am trying to come up with a few meeting places for that too, the less time wasted wandering around looking for plugs the better!

Engineering building has a few nice spots, on the upper floors. There's a good few sections which have couches, sockets and whiteboards.

There are group project rooms on the top floor of the library. You can book them for 1 hour and there's a projector and whiteboard.

You book them via the library website and collect the key at the desk, info here:

The Common Room is great for a bit of peace and quiet. Also Very comfy sofas.
