Final season kicked off last week with Jack's trying to tank NBC with all his hideous shows :p
"We're going to meet Kenneth's family," executive producer/star Tina
Fey tells TV Guide. "Kenneth's mom will be played by Catherine
O'Hara and his mom's 'friend' Ron will be Bryan Cranston."
Matthew Broderick has been confirmed to return as his second season character
    Cooter Burger

Watched ep 1 last night, wasn't great, a bit sick of Kenneth and his 'girlfriend' Holly, is it?

Liz Lemon being turned on by organising was predictable, but still funny!

    Also Tracey's singing = win!

Anyone still watching this? The last few episodes have been decent enough.

Still watching and will watch every episode, even when it's bad it will usually have one or two gags worth the time, and then you get the odd great episode that keeps you hooked

Still in denial about it ending even though the last episode had an overriding air of finality.

Anyone know when season 6 will be out on DVD here?

It's not over, there are 4 episodes in January.

sorry probably should have worded that better. I mean that I'm still in denial that it is ending and that the last episode shown had such a sense of finality about it. I'm hoping it's a J.R thing and we wake up and 30 Rock is still in production.

It was wonderful! So many laugh out loud moments (the mom discussion board at the beginning: "our 2 yr old is gay but we love him more than if he was str8 cos he's not a RAPIST", Liz shouting away the end credits at the end of part 1, Tracy's "Not many people watched us but the joke's on you cos we got paid anyway!"), heartfelt goodbyes (Liz/Tina to Tracy/Tracy, the Jack/Liz boat scene and the Rural Juror song montage - see below), lots of great callbacks (Mickey Rourke!) and it wrapped everything up nicely - the final 10 seconds alone are some feat of storytelling if nothing else, seeming to imply
Kenneth is immortal, still runs NBC and Liz's great (great?) granddaughter is pitching the show "30 Rock" to him
. Shame no return for Wesley Snipes, though...

I was a huge fan of the early seasons and felt (like most) that it lost its way around 5/6, but these last few episodes have been real top quality. I'm sorry to see it go but it's a show I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone who likes offbeat, smart humour that may have been ahead of its time (as, again,
    the very final scene
    implied.)

All together now: "I'll always be glad I met yer, rural juror..."

A strong finale and nearly wrapped up most characters. From Jenna finally crying, to Lemon and Tracy having their first (and last) real serious conversatin to Lutz finally winning just for once.
A weaker 5th/6th season ended with a pretty strong one. And a nice joke at the St. Elsewhere ending too!
