Dublin Bus No 40 Times

Hello All

Wondering if anybody could offer some assistance please. I need to take the bus number 40 from finglas road very early in the morning for work. The website says the first bus depart at 5.35am and has a shortened route which terminates in the city center.

Does anybody know what time the first bus will reach the city and am I able to get off at O'Connell street.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

I imagine a little after 6am. The bus will drop you at Parnell Square, which is next to O'Connell Street.

the dublin bus website will give you the arrival time BUT the recent changes to the 40, have made it a rubbish service.

all the now buses travel in 2 and 3's or just dont turn up:mad:
