Dunnes just seem to have given up with no information on offers available, if any. The last few weeks in store have been pretty poor based on 2 for €3 offers.

Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for lots of fruit for the Halloween season.

The Dutch tomatoes are tasteless so a waste of money

Some additional items added to the Lidl offers.

The soup sounds like a great idea. I would add some pasta to that, along with some of the other veg, and make a nice minestrone. Definitely coming in to soup weather !! The heartier the better. Gives the kids a good energy burst when they get home from school.

Made Tomato Soup today with 4 packets of them, handful of fresh Basil, Olive Oil, a red onion, couple veg stock cubes, salt and pepper, tomato puree, boil them all up and yum-licious. Finish with a bit of cream. Lubbly Jubbly

If you roast them before making soup it's really good

I agree, 140degrees for 1.5 hours, bit of salt on them before going in the oven, enhances the flavour no end.

Was in local Supervalu this morning and they told me the Oranges, Melons etc were last week and not available this week, they had plums, pears, 4 pack apples this week - can't remember other things

I think Aldi sell two pepper products. You picked the one not on offer. Call them and ask qoting the barcode, no point ranting about it if you're going to do nothing

I bought the peppers in Maynooth last night, it said €1.29 at the stand so I only grabbed 1 packed but then found they were the correct 69c at the till!

They were in the same place as the other super 6 stuff but the sign said 1.29 for them, not 69c like the rest. I didnt check my receipt as i knew going to the till that they were 1.29 as thats what the sign said.

Must check my receipt when i get home, maybe i was only charged 69c.
