Birds flying North??

Hi All . Last night while outside having a few drinks I saw a lot of birds flying North in a V formation, Might have seen 10 or more groups . Didn't know if they were geese or seagulls. Anybody have an idea what they were and where they might be coming from and going to? Regards from Tipp Liam C .

Hi All . Last night while outside having a few drinks I saw a lot of birds flying North in a V formation, Might have seen 10 or more groups . Didn't know if they were geese or seagulls. Anybody have an idea what they were and where they might be coming from and going to?

Geese are flying in from the north so it was probably gulls heading to a night roost. Geese are vocal when in formtion
