    Hi everyone,

My driver door won't open in my Octavia. It opens from the outside but not the inside. Does anyone know how to fix it? No garages will be open on Sundays and I'm starting to panic a bit!

    All help appreciated!

Don't panic in the meantime. Just open the window and use they key in the lock to close all windows afterwards or just close it yourself. I bet it's something small. On my last focus I had the same thing and it was a €20 fix. Turned out to be some spring in the handle I think.

Old model Octavia up to 05?, if so, then most likely, the cable from the inside door handle to the lock has snapped, it happens on them, cables are not expensive from the dealer...

Yeah it's a 01. Do you know of anywhere that would be able to fix it tomorrow?

Not much chance on a Sunday, especially if a new cable is needed.
