Wiimotes randomly turning off.

    Hi.
We have one of those recharging stations for the Wii with the rechargable batteries that clip onto the Wiimotes. Lately the remotes seem to be turning off at random during very short periods of inactivity, even like during an in-game cut scene. When we turn them back on and press the home button the batteries are showing as fully charged.

Are these rechargable packs the most likely culprit or is there anything else I should be thinking about? The Wii is about two years old fwiw.

Batteries are probably finished, I have rechargable packs for both the Wii and Xbox 360 and the battery packs on both are suffering the same issues aswell.

They seem to only last about a year or so:(

If its random stops and the batteries are showing fully charged its more than likely a poor connection issue.I had a similar problem on my remotes and i folded a small piece of tin foil and placed them at the end of the batteries where it makes the connections.Seemed to do the job.Worth a try anyway.
