Light anomoly in the sky?

    Hey there,

    I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago in the Peak District and was wondering if this is a sun dog? Not sure if you can make it out in the picture, but to the naked eye it had the colours of the rainbow. After a couple of minutes it disappeared.

    Yes it's a sundog alright. In the top photo it looks like you've got a portion of the 22 degree halo as well. Great!
