Interferences on head unit

I get a lot of interference on my head unit - the back window demister is causing loss of reception in a big way when switched on.
The earth connection has been checked - no change.
Can anyone recommend a good auto electrician in Galway ?
    Thanks - V

Make/Model of the head-unit and the type and year of the car would help. Sounds like an earth problem, who checked it for you ?

Has it the aerial combined with the heated rear window as in some BMWs? There is usually a control / amplifier box behind the trim of the window pillar beside the HRW, it's the first thing to check if you have this system.

Sounds like you are having trouble with an Audi radio. Check with Paul in Glenrock business park Galway ---- -091 756363.

I don't know much about these types of electrics. :)

The unit is a Hualigan dvd system like this one : http://en.hualingan.com/html-en/product-ymQxYtALFJWO-BMW3+E46+car+dvd-318I+refitting+photos.html

The car is a 2003 BMW E46 318i touring. My mechanic checked the earth during the last service at my request.

I will be contacting Paul very shortly. Thank you for the recommendations - very grateful.
