In terms of bringing a laptop or netbook into the library, are there sockets in the library that I can use? Or is it a case of hoping that your battery will last?!

There was 2 sockets beside my desk the last day I was in.

Most of the desks in the old part of the Boole don't have sockets, but in the reading rooms or whatever, which are around to the left, there are sockets galore :)

There's loads in the library in Brookefield too if that would be handier for you to go to.
