Satellite Broadband - any difference between the NBS and Digiwebs new packages?

I see Digiweb have a new satellite broadband package here. I'm interested in either the "Plus 12" or the "Extra 18" packages. These packages give download speeds of 12mbps and 18mbps respectively.

I'm currently on satellite with the NBS with a download speed of somewhere between 2-3 mbps.

I was wondering if I were to change to one of these Digiweb packages if I'd actually notice any speed/performance increase over my current NBS package? If there was a significant improvement I'd be very tempted to change.

I realise pings will be between 700-900 ms on all satellite packages, and that Digiweb have greater download caps ... I'm just wondering of it'd be worthwhile changing to Digiweb purely from a speed/performance point of view.

Thanks, I'm aware of usage limits per week/day/hour.

I was asking if these Digiweb packages would be significantly better than my current NBS satellite package.

    Define better ;)

Several neighbors have the Onwave package (they were signed up for the RBS but that was so Sh!t they went with a normal package) and speeds are very good can't remember them exactly but they were increased recently and faster than the NBS with about the same download limits.

I just expected the "snake oil salesmen" to be along saying that there's no caps or limits on the "all new" tooway package
