    Hi,
I bought a Sunn Motive Exo bike 6 months ago. It was going great until this morning when connecting pin in chain came loose got caught in rear derailleur and jammed and destroyed derailleur, broke spokes but most worryingly rear derailleur hanger.

Does anybody know where I can find one or a similar replacement? I cant find it in a few bike shops or on-line and I don't want to have to get a new frame or bike.

    Thanks,
    Da_Gaffer.

A bit worrying that they don't list it on here -

.... but it may be that Sunn use the same hanger as other bikes - you could check through the site. Can you not get in touch with Sunn and ask them to suggest a supplier?

If it was new when you bought it take it back to the supplier. That fault is more than likely due to poor assembly or incomplete pressing of the chain rivet.

I needed one and got it on ebay from pilo. it should be here on Monday. The attached might be the right one. Also go to the Cycle superstore and bring it they may have a replacement one.

When you replace a deraileur hanger, should you need to adjust that hanger or will it be correctly adjusted when you get it? ie. Do you need to but the adjuster tool with it as well?

I dont think so reilig only if the piece that is attached to the frame is bent as well.
