hi I have a 1996 2 door fiesta lx and the other door my toddler was out messing in car and when I went out to close doors in car strangely enough latches in the two doors were stuck and both doors wouldn't close . I looked up online how to fix it and the old trick of pulling the handle and sticking and screwdriver in latch and pulling it out worked in passenger side. only problem with driver side is that the outer handle on door had not been working recently and I had to open door from inside for awhile so I was wondering how would I fix the stuck latch on driver door since I can't pull handle when sticking screwdriver in . any advice would greatly be appreciated.

Turn off the child look and use the inside handle?
