New computer struggling to connect to the net :(

Got a new computer a few days ago.

When I turn it on first, it comes up "Limited connectivity". Disconnecting from the net and reconnecting made it start working grand. Now though, it's just stuck on Limited connectivity, and won't connect at all.

Would this be a firewall issue or something I'm meant to do with the computer or router since I got a new computer? Anyone have any ideas why a brand new computer would have a problem like that?

    Some SWAGs...

    Incorrectly entered password (try again)

Encryption type (check the router, try another encryption, i.e. WPA2)

3rd party connection manager (disable it and use the Windows connection manager)

I had this problem when I setup the wifi on my laptop. When it detected the connection it offered two links, vodafoneSecureXXXX and another one that was slightly different (but still my router). Anyway I picked the first one and it would always link with limited connectivity until I disconnected and re-connected. Still happens as I've been too lazy to delete connection and start again. I'm certain if I chose the other option at the start then it would connect as normal (I remember doing this for my wife's laptop)
