I ordered a tablet from amazon uk on the 19th sept it was dispatched on the 21st it was sent via royal mail with no tracking no, on the 2nd of oct i emailed the seller with my concern that it had not arrived,i recieved a reply saying that it was still within the time delivery estimate of oct 5t and to be patient, well today is the 5th and it has not arrived, the sender has a bricks and mortar in the uk and positive rating,
should I contact them again or file a claim?

First check your account and order, make sure the delivery date is OK. With seller orders the delivery dates tend to be spread across several days or week rather than a usual amazon order which specifies an exact date.

Eg. a seller order might say Delivery date: 1st - 14th of October.

If you're inside those days there's nothing you can do, just wait until it either arrives or that later date passes.

After that date you can send in a claim, I think you have to wait 5 or 7 days after the latest delivery date before you can claim (from the above example the 14th so wait until the 19th).

The only time I've ever had an issue the seller, I sent in my claim and the seller got back to me that day and refunded at the same time :). I'm not sure what happens if they don't refund/replace your order - Amazon probably refunds you and bans the seller.

    Edit:

Aha, after a quick search I found this which should help ya >
