We have all seen the Gosafe camera vans around the country. Well I saw a van on the side of the road, a plain white Transit van with GARDA written on the top of the rear doors and no other markings or blue lights on it. The van was parked at a junction where road works were been carried out.
I thought that Gardaí outsourced this operation to a contractor called GoSafe, so they had more time for other aspects of there work.
Are the gards still sitting in the back of unmarked vans carrying out speed checks as well as paying for a contractor to this work??
