connecting to internet on desktop

    hey im having trouble connecting to the internet on my desktop. the problen is not with the internet as its fine for phones and my laptop. the problem started with google chrome yesterday and now its wont connect to any internet search engine!. any help would be very helpfull. thanks!!

    If it's just not connecting to particular websites it may well be malware.

    malwarebytes and or superantispyware can clean out those things. You may want to run them from safe mode though.

    no it just wont connect to the enternet at all

    You could check you internet DNS settings are set to auto.

    Open internet and sharing centre > Local area connection > Click Properties > Internet protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Make sure obtain IP address automatically button is selected and obtain DNS server address automatically is selected.
