    Hi boardsies,

I'm just hoping for a little advice or to be steered in the right direction !!!

I've put on some extra weight and I honestly think its due to a new contraceptive I'm trying but I've gone from a size 10 34b to a size 12 34 E and I'm really struggling to dress for my figure,

The main area is bum and tum and although it's getting me down I'm Gyming it up to get my waist and arse back to normal ha!!

But what I really need is some advice on what styles of clothes to go for that will make me look slimmer or even that are in the shops at the moment... I'm hiding under flowey shirts at the moment and because of my boobs it's making me look bigger then I am.... If you can show me pics or whatever you think yourself I'd really appreciate it as I've started a new job and want to feel that I look great !

I'm 24 and really into my fashion, make up etc

Thanks and sorry for the essay!!!

snap! i have the same problem, slightly differ story tho,IM 25, have always had big boobs but 8 too 10 on bottom half, ive put on weight-purely from eating crap and doing no exercise,so ive gone up too a size 12 on bottom half but have also boobs are getting even bigger! 34 H :( so i completely understand how hard it is pick clothes etc!

high necklines a nono usually but you really need too try on different items because depending on the make and shape one hight neck dress or top might be horrible and make you look huge on top and another could look great! i avoid polo necks and baggy tshirts and shirts and blouses tend too make me look bigger than i am! i would love too be able too wear the blouses that are all the treand right now but the boobs wont allow me!! :( ! I think top/dresses that can be worn with leggings and tights work great and also those that have the lines that go under the bust, separates the boobs from the tummy area.

I hope this is of some help too you :)

With the figure you described I think that a square necked dress that is belted at the waist would look lovely. The length is up to yourself, depending on how much leg you want to show and where you'll be wearing them. Skater style is fab and fairly easy to come by.

I think defining a waist is very important with a big chest, my friend is an E cup and when she wears floaty tops it just makes it look like her waist goes out as far as her chest, which it doesn't :/

Thanks to you both fr replying I was starting to think I as the only one !!
Yeah I think the worst thing I'm doing is wearing baggy jumpers to try hide everything might have to get some flattering tops and blazers and just work that for a while!!

Have a staff night out this weekend the peplum dresses with a square neck are everywhere hopefully it will flatter in the right places!!

    Thanks xxxxx

    +1000

I'm a size 12/30GG-H, and if I wear anything floaty at all I look like I'm about 6 months pregnant. Not a good look at all!

If you don't have anything constructive to post then don't bother. This is the fashion forum and the OP was asking for fashion advice.
