    Hi folks:

Based on feedback we're going to run this on a monthly basis for next year. Please pop up your ingredient suggestions in this thread & I'll draw up the list for the first few months of 2013 by the end of December.

    Ta,

Many thanks to those who have provided suggestions, but unless there is a bit more input fairly soon we can forget about even doing this on a monthly basis next year. :(

I'd love pasta and potatoes to be included because although most people use them a lot, they can become boring.
    Peppers

+1 for chorizo, maybe include a more general ingredient such as "cured meat".
Another ingredient I would suggest is soft cheeses, while I love them, I never buy them as I have no. Idea what to do with them.

    Anyone missing IOTW?
I'm missing the buzz of putting my thinking cap on for recipes using those ingredients, and making some of those things have not made for years,
even when I had none to post, loved looking at other posts,
