Wondering if anyone could give me some idea's for a problem? My sister took a 2 year old ****zu from a friend of her about 5 Months ago as it needed a home and the current owner was moving abroad. My sister now needs to move to another apartment but problem is the new apartment has a strict policy against pets. She would love to hold onto him but now has to try and locate a good home for him. Any idea's how to go about it as she really wants to make sure he goes to a caring home.

Contact local vets who will let her put up a poster
Do NOT advertise on the free sites -
Insist on Homecheck so she can see where the dog will be living
    Also get a Vet Reference
& Contact as many rescues as possible - you never know they may know someone looking for a small well socialised dog.

    Hi,
I recently found a gorgeous Husky pup, dumped and involved in dog fights. I couldn't keep him, I have two dogs already, so I kept him for a week and in the meantime, I got 98FM (who are brilliant) to announce him and got a story out in my local paper about him. Turned out that a friend found wonderful people to adopt him and he is now extremely happy and healthy. Do some advertising, or if you are really desperate, the DSPCA may take him, although they try to limit their spaces for neglected and abused animals. ASH would probably take the dog, but I would avoid that if possible, he may not ever get a home. Hope this helps :)
