12 string recommendation

My partner wants a new 12 string with pickup - cutaway optional.

I was in Guitar Centre today and they have a Cort Earth 70-12E which seems like a nice guitar - lovely sound off it - and it's within budget (<400).

From other threads here I found this one too. Similar price but with cutaway neck. Might pop down there tomorrow at lunchtime to have a go at it.

Anyone opinions on either or any other suggestion? She's a good guitarist and is playing her first gig later this month (birthday gig for friends/family/etc with mostly her own songs) so a decent guitar with a low action would be a nice surprise for her.

a 12 string with a low action would be a nice suprise for anyone!!

I had a Yamah FG42012 for nearly 20 years that did the job very well.

At this end of the price bracket its a bit hit and miss. don't buy a 12 unseen. you HAVE to play 'em
