i tried something similiar before a while back in a nokia 6230i (a long while back). i found it flimsy, unreliable and all round more hassle than it was worth.

this wasnt in an android phone though of course.

I have it, worked grand on stock ROM. Not so well on CM9.

Can't have both sims active at the same time though. need to switch manually between each. pretty easy to do though by dialing 001 or 002 to switch between them.

Was handy for travelling, but might not be the best if you need to have both sims active at the same time.

Hi, folks. I'm thinking of getting a dual-sim adapter, rather than forking out for a 3g dual-sim phone. I came upon this:http://www.magic-sim.com/product/id/2/28th_GEN_+_PLUS_(3G2G)_DUAL_SIM_ADAPTER_-_NO_CUT_MODEL.html while searching Amazon for a cheapo 3g phone. I know these adapters are not nirvana, but anything is better than trawling 2 phone around.

    Opinions, good and bad, welcome.

I have the magic sim for the galaxy s3 from that site, when I bought it on release day it was double the price!

Anyhow, I find it very reliable - the only thing I have to do is when changing number in the dual sim app I hit flight mode on then off to speed up the change.
It usually takes 30-40 seconds doing it that way, if I don't do that it can take anywhere from 1 minute to 2 minutes to change.

Mine fitted perfectly, no problems - on the phone, phone logs and texts are merged etc
I use 'phono' app to get an overview of my curerent network selection plus network logo to let me know which sim is active from the homescreen top bar and pulldown menu.

I don't know how the one you want would work but that company is well-regarded as far as i can see.

    Hope that helps a bit.
