Classic Motorsport Slide Show
Following the success of their event earlier this year , the Limerick Classic & Vintage Car Club are holding another on Friday October 5th at the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel Limerick at 8pm. This is near the University of Limerick and just off M7 junction 28 .
Featuring;
- The history of the Limerick Motor Club, founded in 1948.
- Brian Cullen speaks about his career, including the Formula 2 championship in 1970 and 71. Racing at Monza, Zolder, Nurburgring, Bogata etc. with Emerson Fittipaldi, Jacky Ickx and Graham Hill.
- Rosemary Smith, the first lady of Irish motorsport, discusses her time in rallying and racing. The Monte Carlo Rally, Alpine Rally, Tulip Rally, London-Sydney etc., racing at Daytona and Sebring, the Irish Land Speed Record and more.
Featuring film and photographs never before seen in public.
