Amid armed conflict, chimps attack Congolese villagers

The future for the Congo's great apes and most other wildlife looks rather grim as constant warfare,bush meat trade and heavy poaching continue to rage out of control. Not many people know that the the DRC use to have natural parks full of zebra,rhino and Lions etc. but these have already been totally wiped out. Now it is the turn of the rainforest species to suffer:(
