Triton too hot on coldest dial setting

Hi, wonder if someone can help - our Triton T80i is too hot even with the temperature dial turned all the way towards Blue/Cold. This would be with the power dial set to the 2 bars symbol i.e. most powerful (even though it isn't powerful, but that's another thing I guess). What controls the temp on these electric showers and why would it be too hot? It would still be hot on low power set to cold, but bearable.

    Thanks.

The temperature is controlled by a thermal switch which sits on top of the heater tank, they can become faulty, but try the simple things first, check your inlet filter, and make shure the hose and head is not kinked or blocked.
