    Anyone know why sky have a 37.50 charge if i dont have a landline

    Maybe just because they can, they seem to be a law unto themselves

    If you are not ordering multiroom you can just say you have a landline to avoid the €37.50 in that case the installer will call to activate the viewing card, in my case he did that as I was using VOIP line and Sky box doesn't work in most cases with Voip.

    Exactly, If you say you have a landline you don't have to pay the €37.50, there is a good chance if your only getting one box, you wont want it connected to a phoneline unless you use interactive services or or films

    Dont have a landline though, so going to give them a call see if they try win me back was with them for 5 years till i went to australia for a year, so hoping to get a deal
