volvo xc90 key replacement

    Friend of mine is missing the spare and now a garage wants her to have the original replaced after it was dropped and the batteries fell out. They explained that it would take 6 weeks and would cost €180.


    Seems a long time to wait and a costly exercise. Anyone know the cheapest, fastest solution to her problem? 07 Volvo XC90.

    Any help appreciated.

    My cousin has the same model and had the same problem. The local main dealer had it done in three hours. Total cost €340. Where the 6 weeks is coming from seems wierd

    She's better off getting a spare done also if possible. You can she what trouble she's in without it.
