Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Friend of a friend recently came to Dublin from Lithuania, she has little to no english, shes stuck working as a babysitter for a Lithuanian family and getting very small amounts of money.

She needs english so she can get a job but cant afford lessons, would anyone know of someone who would give free or extremely cheap lessons?

    Thanks in advance :)

Contact your local VEC. The same people who run reading classes for adults also run English lessons for people who have moved here recently.
    Free.

Pity I don't live in Dublin. I'm an English teacher who is learning Lithuanian. Would have been an advantageous language swap!

    Good luck to your friend!

(PS: If she is interested in writing by email you can let me know by PM. Cheers!)
