Could anyone please name the tree species attached? The one centred. It's in St Johns Priory park in Waterford City. Sorry I don't have a close up of the leaves, for now.

    Any help is really appreciated.

Sorry, its very hard to see the detail of the leaves. They seem to be segmented like a maple? sycamore? but one or two remind me of a tulip tree (although they're not very common and I doubt if thats it).
If you can get a close up of even a handful of leaves it should be easy to identify.

Kind of looks like a lime, but hard to say without a clearer snap

I don't think the leaves are divided, it looks a bit like a beech to me.

    Yep..
    beech or lime..

Really all you needed was a snap of one leaf, it would make ID much more definite.

If you zoom up on the leaves they defiantly look like its a lime tree.
