They seem to have Leffe & Hoegaarden a good bit recently, not that I'm complaining, my other half loves it. Gonna pick up a few cases of Brahma I think, stock up for Christmas.

They had 6 Smithwicks cans for 8.99 in local Lidl yesterday also.

Blue Moon is yum at 6.99 for 4 x 355ml bottles.

Blue Moon is ok, but Hoegaarden is nicer and is €2 cheaper for 4 bottles.

they have always been 2euro a bottle even when there's no offer on.

doesnt look like any bargains to me

brahma 12 for a tenner? that has been that price in tesco for years now

paulaner 2euro? been that price in superquinn with their beers of the world. also o'briens sell it around the same and have seen it that price in other offo's

heineken 8 for 12 is rubbish. can get 8 for a tenner in most places even across the road in my local

plenty others look just like normal price.

BITBURGER = looks like a real bargain there. ive never seen it here and i think their 500ml so it looks like a good price

€1.50 for a 500ml bitburger, that's a very decent deal along with the fact that I don't think I've actually ever seen it for sale in Ireland. I'd highly recommend it

Leffe and Hoegaarden are fairly good prices. Usually €7+ in most places...

Superquinn had 6 for 12 euro with a free paulaner Oktoberfest tankard today. All variates. Think the offer was ending though. Wouldn't scan in the system but the lovely lady gave me 12 for 24 :D

I wasnt giving out, I was pointing out that the majority of the beer deals on the flyer are not bargains and can be got for same price and less in alot other places..

i saw the bitburger after i posted and theres 1 or 2 others that would be cheaper and decent deals

    AFAIK it's lager

Bitburger , one of my favourites and really difficult to get.

Its a pils as far as i know.
Not a million miles away in taste from warsteiner (IMO)
    some great deals there.
    Thanks OP.

its actually a pils type lager with a reasonably bitter and hoppy taste off it.

Furstenburg which is also on offer is similar enough, but if memory serves me right is a shade less bitter than the bitburger.

Both are drinkable if you're into that type of beer.

(Edit, I see the previous poster said something similar! The comparison to warsteiner is probably not a bad one, a commercial pils that aims not to be so bitter that it would put people off drinking it. )

Is it not part of the "5 for €10 World Beers" offer on at the moment?

    Orange pilled.

tesco over here had that on special the other week at 3(660ml) for £5 so I gave it a try, nice enough. The thing is though, my head was banging the next morning, very unusual, it was only a leisurly 3 botles the night before so I'd be hesitant in getting them again

i tell a lie, it was 4 for £5, it's usually 3 fro £5, they're currently £1.50 a bottle. i'm still not tempted though there's others there that'll do me nicely. anyway sorry for going a bit OT

Was in Lidl yesterday and they had a lot of the Polish beers on sale. Don't remember the names but remember the 500ml cans for €1.59 (5.7%) and €1.69 for the 6% stuff!
