    Hi All,

I am currenlty in the proccess of a new build and would like to wire the house for multiroom audio....

I am having ceiling mounted speakers placed in certain rooms and would like the option to play audio in these rooms from different sources, like a hifi and multimedia hard drive and radio and maybe audo from my sky box for example

I am also bring Cat 6 cable to all rooms that will have the speakers...I had planned also to have volume controls in the rooms with speakers but I see you can now just get apps on your phone that can do this...

All Cat6 and speaker cables will come back to a central point in my attic....In the attic I plan to place the brains of the operation along with a router and audio amp...

I was wondering if people could give me advice on what to install and what is the best system to install....( And unfortunatly I am on a budget)

I have looked at the Sonas system but at 500 euro for each zoneplayer this is too costly...

any help would be greatly appreciated as I have never done this before...

Depends on your budget but sounds like your wiring for a Russound C-Series System, also look at the Russound DMS 3.1 Fantastic product with apple airplay, vtunes, and AM/FM Radio all built in and also gives metadata feedback to the keypads and My Russound App for control via iphone/ipad.

Pm me for if you want any more info.

    Hi Ronnie,

    thanks for your reply,

Budjet wont be great to be honest but as long as I get the wiring right I can always but such a system in the future...

For the Russound DMS 3.1 can I hook this straight up to my speakers or do I have to go through a seperate amp...

Sorry if these questions seems obvious but im new to this!!!

The DMS 3.1 streamer is only an add-on to the C-Series system, you need the C-Series as the amp/controller, the C-Series also has built in Am/Fm.

Or you could go with a C-Series and add the DMS3.1 in the future.
